LivingWorks safeTALK
LivingWorks safeTALK is a half-day (3.5–4 hour) suicide prevention training that equips participants to recognize signs of suicidal thoughts and connect individuals to life-saving help.
Key Features:
TALK Steps: The core framework—Tell, Ask, Listen, KeepSafe—guides participants in how to respond.
Identifying Invitations: Learn to spot subtle verbal, behavioral, and situational signs that someone might be thinking about suicide.
Connecting to Helpers: Emphasizes the importance of linking the person at risk to a trained intervention provider (like someone trained in ASIST).
Practical & Inclusive: Designed for anyone 15 years or older—no prior experience required.
The goal is to increase safety and confidence so more people can step in and offer support when someone might be thinking of suicide.
