Heart Blocks
These hearts began during COVID, when my hands needed something to do and my mind needed somewhere to wander.
One day I asked my mom whether she thought about a particular person while she quilted. Her answer stayed with me. I began wondering how I might bring that same care into my own work.
Each heart is made by hand and one of a kind—a small piece of color, texture, and love to keep or give.
Some come with a printed blessing that begins, “This heart is for you…” Others let the heart speak for itself.
