A six-week online circle for women who want to listen to their lives, practice connection, and remember that their voices matter.
The Heard Circle is connected to my book-in-progress, One of the Heard, and grows from one simple belief:
Listening takes both a story and an audience.
Over six Wednesday evenings, we’ll explore how we love, how we listen, the roles we play in our families, friendships, workplaces, and communities, and what it means to practice connection with more intention.
This is not a writing class, a therapy group, or another place where you have to perform. You do not have to be a writer. You do not have to arrive with answers. You only have to come curious.
Sharing will always be invited, never required.
Belonging has never been a side interest for me. It has been the thread running through my work.
Throughout my career as an educator, school and systems leader, researcher, writer, and facilitator, I have designed and led spaces where people can learn, reflect, speak honestly, and listen to one another. I helped build an organization devoted to ending loneliness, and my doctoral work explores how belonging and meaningful connection can be designed with intention rather than left to chance.
The Heard Circle brings that experience together with the stories at the heart of One of the Heard. My expertise is in creating the conditions for people to notice the stories and roles shaping their lives, listen with greater intention, and experience what it means to be heard without having to perform.
Each gathering will include:
A short teaching
Guided reflection
Thoughtful conversation
Time to listen and be heard
You’ll also receive a weekly Listening Menu with different ways to continue between gatherings. You might choose to read, write, draw, notice, practice, or simply sit with one good question.
Before we begin, you’ll receive a printed reflection notebook and one of my hand-painted wooden heart blocks in the mail.
The Heard Circle is not built around finding one right answer. It is designed to help you leave with:
Greater awareness of the stories and roles shaping your life
Practical ways to listen and connect with more intention
Questions and reflection practices you can continue using
The experience of being heard—and of offering that gift to someone else
Wednesdays, October 14–November 18, 2026
Choose the circle that works for you:
Eastern Circle: 6:45–8:15 p.m. Eastern
Pacific Circle: 6:45–8:15 p.m. Pacific
Both circles will share the same six-week experience. Please select one circle when registering.
Individual registration: $497
This rate honors the first women helping bring The Heard Circle to life.
Two women registering for the same circle may join for $447 each.
Come with a friend, sister, colleague, or another woman with whom you would like to share the experience. Coming on your own is equally welcome; both ways of entering the circle belong here.
Each circle will be held with a minimum of four women. If your selected circle does not meet the minimum, you may transfer to the other circle or receive a full refund.
Because the circles are intentionally small, your presence matters. Please register if you expect to attend at least four of the six gatherings.
Every person, project, and business has a story.
Sometimes we simply need someone to help us hear it.
Whether you're building a personal brand, writing a book, navigating a life transition, or trying to put words to what matters most, I'll help you uncover the story that's already there—and tell it with clarity and confidence.
Our conversations are thoughtful, practical, and deeply personal. Together, we'll discover the threads that connect your experiences, your values, and your voice.

Private Listening Sessions are guided conversations for women who want to slow down, listen to their lives, and make meaning of the stories, roles, relationships, and transitions they are carrying.
This is not therapy, counseling, or a writing class. It is a reflective conversation rooted in love, listening, and story.
You might come because something is changing. You might come because you feel a little disconnected from yourself. You might come because there is a story you keep circling, a relationship you are trying to understand, or a next step you want to hear more clearly.
You do not have to be a writer. You do not have to have the answers. You just have to come curious.
Sessions are available for one person or for two people who want to listen, reflect, and tell stories together.
After you register, I’ll reach out so we can find a time that works.
Story House
Each Story House is an original small work from the studio and from the world of a future book. These houses are imagined places with real emotional weather: homes where someone has waited, laughed, grieved, changed, loved, or begun again.
When you choose one, you are taking home the original piece while leaving the story free to keep becoming.
Available: $65 plus shipping
Purchase includes the original artwork. I retain the right to photograph, share, and reproduce the image as part of future creative work.
Our Rough Draft Story Cards are designed to help you slow down, share stories, and build deeper connections with the people around you. Whether you're gathered around the dinner table, on a road trip, or spending time with friends, each deck invites meaningful conversations—one question at a time.
